Jared is navigating life as a college senior at Florida State University. He has taken way too many classes for his major in Communication Media Studies, yet he still learns classical physics and python programming in his spare time. It does not make sense, but Jared is a complicated, yet interesting guy, so if you ask him why he on such a strange path with his education, he might say "I'm still processing the question. I'll answer it later." He is also quite reliable, so he will give you an answer next time you cross paths. 

For the class, Innovation and Emerging Technologies, Jared was quite interested. Jared enjoyed two innovation classes, Diffusion of Innovations, and Intro to Scientific Computing in Python to inspire him to pursue an innovation minor. He has a lot of crazy ideas, but the ones that are the most ethically sound are an object oriented app to simulate a coach lining up a college bowling team, and an app that tracks bowling ball sales and successes.

Jared is also excited to learn from Lucas Von Hollen, who was a clown in the Flying High Circus at FSU and is now the Techno-wizard of Tallahassee. Jared finds this juxtaposition hilarious. Fun instructors like Lucas have made Jared fall head over heals for the FSU College of Communication and Information and start his application for graduate school. Time will tell what major he chooses. Jared has class so he needs to go. This time  he will not forget to ask Lucas about the history of NERF blasters, which was the real reason for taking this class.
